I have struggled with weight since after having my daughter.

Customer Question

I have struggled with weight since after having my daughter. When I was younger I was thinner and wore maybe a size 7/9. I am at my highest weight ever being 281. I have been at 240 before and lost back down to 167. I have chosen the low carb diet to go on because pretty much I was eating crap food. No veggies, mostly fast food and nothing healthy at all. I have so far in the last 3 weeks been strict with it and I have lost 12.7 pounds. I have more energy, actually eat less at a meal sitting and feel better. Some say low carb is bad. But I know I have lost tons of weight before dieting and I don't want to just have the quick fix surgery because I know I can do it if I am very strict. But my question is....some say low carb is bad. But isn't it worse to be 100 pounds overweight?

thank you for your patience.

diet and exercise are two most important things for losing wright.

to answer your question, yes it is much worse to be 100 pounds overweight, because obesity is a major cause of hypertension, diabetes.

low carb diet is must for losing weight.

having said that, carbs should make almost 50 percent of your total calorie intake

I eat carbs, just ones that come from veggies. I don't eat pasta, bread, potatoes, or sugar or anything like that.. So my carbs are coming from my green vegetables. That is OK correct?
