Hi - my name is ***** ***** I'll be glad to assist.

Are you current on the payments?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. I am behind 3 months.

Ok. Thanks. If you were current, the lender would likely freely allow you to reaffirm the debt (it's a procedure you file after filing bankruptcy) and keep the vehicle. BUT, if you are behind, it will be more difficult to convince the lender to allow you to keep the debt/reaffirm it....but it is still possible.

You'd just have to ask the lender if it would allow you to reaffirm the debt after you file.....OR if you can get current and then file, that would probably allow you to keep it as well.
