If I have my debts discharged via chapter 7, can home depot

Customer Question

If I have my debts discharged via chapter 7, can home depot refuse to honor warranty for a new roof, one of the debts discharged?

Unless home depot is claiming you did not pay for the warranty, as the debt was discharged, they can claim the warranty expired, the contract for the roof needs to be reviewed, if the warranty payments were included with the debt, and the debt was discharged, they can claim the warranty liability was released as well.
