For five star law a few months ago you told me that I could not file in broward county because I live in palm beach county.my husband and I moved to Davie about a month ago. Can I file in broward now? I have been living in Florida almost a year
Hello,

Thank you for your new question Debbie.

Yes you may file in Broward County. The jurisdictional requirement is 6 months to file in the State of Florida with venue based upon residence at the time of filing.. Since both you and your husband reside in Broward County, venue would properly lle in Broward County

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I would be glad to assist you further if I can
