I am being sued after a car accident caused by my wife. We are now buying a house and expending my business (an LLC) where my brother and i are partners. In the worse case scenario, can they go after the LLC or my profits from it? Are there legal ways to protect your assets from things like that?

Attorney2020 :

No. As long as your wife was not driving a corporate vehicle while working for your company your corporate assets will not be liable. Make sure to keep corporate bank accounts, property and any other corporate assets separate from personal accounts, especially until the lawsuit is settled and paid. I hope this helps.
