Hi - my name is Kirk and I'm a Bankruptcy litigation attorney here to assist you.

If you want to file another Chapter 7, you would have to wait 8 years from the date your first petition was filed under 11 USC 727(a)(8) in order to be eligible for a discharge.

If you want to file some other chapter of bankruptcy, the time frames are different. The time frames are outlined at the following link: http://www.bankruptcylawnetwork.com/when-can-i-file-bankruptcy-again/
