Hello, and thank you for contacting Just Answer.

SavyLawyer :

What do you mean by making a charge? Who is making a charge?

Customer:

I FILED BANKKRUPCY IN 11-05 HAD MY 341 MEETING 12-05 THEY DID AWAY WITH ALL THE DEPTS, BUT I TOOK A SMALL LOAN AFTER THIS MEETING. MY BANKKRUPCY ENDS TODAY. WAS WANTINGI TO KNOW IF I WILL BE PENALIZED FOR INCURRING A DEPT

SavyLawyer :

Ok, thank you for the extra information. No, there is no penalty for incurring debt after the bankruptcy was filed (assuming this was a chapter 7 bankruptcy). It is generally ok to take on small amounts of debt after the bankruptcy petition is filed, but that debt is not discharged in the bankruptcy, it is still a valid debt.
