I live in n.c. my fiance has been under a chapter 13 for a year on a house,two cars and credit cards.and told me that she discharge the house and her lawyer said the bank has 180 days to sale it.I have a house of my own when we get married is it possible for anything in her the chapter 13 that could hurt me our my house??

cortrightlaw : Her bankruptcy will not affect you, as her debts are from prior to you getting married and they do not involve you do you have. I liability for them. Additionally you are not even listed or referred to in her BK.
