i own a home in florida. It was purchased and mortgaged as a second home. I filed bankrupcy Chapter 13 in NJ my primary residence. When I take a look at my credit report it says that the mortgage was discharged. Can this be true?

If your Bankruptcy was discharged, that means all dischargeable debts - including your mortgages - were discharged. However, if you want to keep your house, you have to continue to pay the mortgage - even though you do not have to - because a Bankruptcy cannot remove the mortgage lien from the house.
