If a debtor lists her apartment lease contract on Schedule

Resolved Question:

If a debtor lists her apartment lease contract on Schedule G, is the landlord notified of the debtor's bankruptcy petition, even if she is not listing the landlord as a creditor or for anything else on the petition?

Hi JACustomer,
If, and only if, the debtor is behind on the rent, that debt also gets listed on Schedule F (unsecured creditors). Otherwise, the lease and landlord get listed on Schedule G only.

I think this is what you wanted to know. If not, please let me know.
Thank you.

So if only listed on Schedule G, then the landlord is not notified of the bankruptcy?
Expert:  cfortunato replied 4 years ago.
That is correct - if not listed as a creditor, the landlord will not be notified of the Bankruptcy filing.
