A person wants to sell me a motorcycle, he has admitted he has no title as it is involved in a bankruptcy. What are my risks in purchasing the bike and is there anyway for me to get title on it?

If the vehicle does not have a title, you should refuse to purchase it because you would not be able to get a tag or insurance without a title.

Also, if the person is in bankruptcy, he cannot sell any property without approval of the bankruptcy court. Thus, this entire thing sounds very fishy.
