Hello,

Should I marry my girlfriend before or after she conducts her bankrupcy?

Will it effect my credit either way?

What steps should I do to protect my credit score?

Please advise!

So sorry to hear of this dilemma. If my answer is not clear to you, please ask me for clarification by using the reply button.

It would typically be best to marry after your girlfriend's bankruptcy has been discharged. If you married prior to filing, your income will be considered in the bankruptcy
