We are still paying the bankruptcy court for secured debts

This answer was rated:

We are still paying the bankruptcy court for secured debts plus trustee fee - does that mean we are clear of our unsecured debts since it has only been two years since we declared bankruptcy?

Hi JACustomer,

Unless the unsecured debts have been paid in full, they are not cleared until you receive the discharge at the end of the Bankruptcy - up to 5 years from the date of filing.

I think this is what you wanted to know. If not, please let me know.
Thank you!
