Hi JACustomer,

What is your legal question, please? (What would you like to know?)

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I WANT TO TAKE THAT CHAPTER 7 OUT MY RECORD I DO NOT THINK THAT IS LEGAL OR FAIR
Expert:  cfortunato replied 6 years ago.

If you have a Bankruptcy on your credit report that does not belong to you, you just have to contact each one (or all 3) that has the Bankruptcy on their report.

If you notify them of their mistake, they must remove the Bankruptcy.

WHEN YOU SAID EACH ONE OR ALL3 WHO YOU ARE REFERRING TO
Expert:  cfortunato replied 6 years ago.

There are 3 credi-reporting bureaus (Tranunion, Experian, Equifax). I meant each one that has the Bankruptcy listed, or all 3 if all 3 have it listed.

Sometimes only one or 2 credit bureaus have certain information.
