under florida law can a credit co. win a lawsuit againts me if my only income is social sec. & other pension &i have no other liqid assets except $6000 eqity in a car?

Hi JACustomer,
In Florida, a creditor can go to court and get a judgment, but by federal and state law, the judgment cannot be used to touch your Social Security or other pension income, but it can be used to attach (take) a car if the car is worth more than $1,000 (minus the balance of any car loan).
