I filed Bankruptcy in Sept. of 2003, and now find myself deep

Resolved Question:

I filed Bankruptcy in Sept. of 2003, and now find myself deep in debt, no job, no work in the last 5 months, no way to pay for a medical emergency I was just involved in last month. Can I file for Bankruptcy protection again?
Thank you JH

A person can file Chapter 7 again if it has been more than 8 years since he or she filed the previous Chapter 7 bankruptcy or 6 years since the filing of a Chapter 13.

A debtor can refile a Chapter 13 at anytime.
