I filed bankruptcy in Jan. this year. I kept my car thinking

Resolved Question:

I filed bankruptcy in Jan. this year. I kept my car thinking I could make the payments. I lost my job and I can't make the payments now. What can I do?

If you reaffirmed on the car, then you are on the hook. You will need to work something out with the lender, refinance, or else sell the car to pay off the balance. You could also give it back, and just pay the balance left after the lender sells it. If you did not reaffirm, you can give it bak, and the debt was discharged in your bankruptcy. Good luck.
