If I dont reaffirm my gmac lease - the car is excessively

Resolved Question:

If I don't reaffirm my gmac lease - the car is excessively over the contracted miles - when will they want the car back? Prior to discharge or after the discharge?

The creditor can ask the bankruptcy court for permission to pick the car up prior to discharge. However, in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, the creditor typically chooses to wait until discharge to avoid the cost of the action.
