my husband and i have been in chapter 13 since january 2008;

Resolved Question:

my husband and i have been in chapter 13 since january 2008; we did this to keep our cars and home.we are wanting to get out off chapter 13 and start paying our own bills,but we are afraid that our home and car will be taken if we get out ! how can we get out off this?Is this possible?

Hello,

If your car and home are now current, you can safely dismiss the Chapter 13. However, if you are behind in payments for either, you will want to stay in the Chapter 13 to prevent a foreclosure or repossession.
