Customer Question

How can i protect my wife''s credit record when i declear bankruptcy ??, there are no "joint accounts or credit cards" would a DIVORCE before i start the bankruptcy keep her out of it or would a ANNULMENT work better to protect her from my creditors and keep her record clean ??? thanks for the help.

If there are no joint accounts, just don't file her. Whether the credit reporting agencies will pick up her name is XXXXX XXXXX but can't be answered. If you are divorced in a concsnsual divorce prior to the filing, it will raise all sorts of questions, especially if assets are distributed. The questionable credit is less of a problem than the questions.

I ""can understand"" about the DIVORCE rout, But what about the ANNULMENT ??? in a ANNULMENT the Marrage ""never legaly happend"" . So what i want to know is ""WHATS THE LEGAL RAMAFACTION OF BANKRUPTCY AFTER A ANNULMENT""
