Customer Question

Hello,
I have been given a Section 10(b) bond (no convictions) on a number of criminal charges. I work in financial services so police check is important. I have been told that S10(b) appears on police check for 18 months even though it is not a criminal record. Do the criminal charges to which it relates to also appear on the police check (AVO related charges).
Kind regards,
Ahilan

It will continue to appear while the good behaviour bond is in place. If you have been given a good behaviour bind for 18 months then it will be showing on your record for that period. Once you comply and the period expires then the conviction is not seen.

All charges will appear on a police check. I hope this makes sense and is of assistance. if there is nothing further

thank you for using my services.
