Customer Question

My son was driving a friends car and had an accident does he have to legally give him money the friend is asking for money now 9 months after the accident. My sons friend did not have insurance and neither did my son as he did not have a vehicle at that time.

Hello
Well he caused the damage to the vehicle.
If your son was sued, I do not think there is any doubt that a court would rule that your son was at fault and need to pay for the damage.

Him being uninsured is foolish, but as a driver, a court would still find your son liable.

I wish to help you in this situation.
