Customer Question

my husband has a debt to westpac in the vicinity of $40,000, he was to attend a court case on Thursday and did not attend. I am his wife and want to know if I am responsible for his payment also, we are on DVA pension.
He is not taking any responsibility for this debt, I get a
dva pension $400.00 and a super payment of $800.00 per fortnight, as a retired midwife I have also got some a share portfolio to the value of $400.000. I would be grateful for your advice
