I was sacked whilst on workcover i injured my hamstring quite b adly 2 weeks ago by doing a job at work instructed by my boss, i was in my 3 mth probation peri I d just short 4 days when i received a call on Friday from my boss sacking me, he said it wasn't anything to do with the injury it was that i want suitable for the job, when funny not that long ago before the injury i was called into the office and told what a good job i was doing, i believe i was sacked because of the work care claim and i put his name as the cause as i was indicted by him to do the kidding when i said maybe we should use a forklift

Sadly under the fair work laws (not so 'fair work') You cannot claim for unfair dismissal unless you have worked there for over 6 months.

Sadly, even if you have been unfairly dismissed, you do not have a claim.

Iam not trying to claim unfair dismissal, i believe under the general protection law i may have a case
