Miele Novotronic w828, washing machine will fill with water, then it won't do its main wash, the rinse light starts flashing continuously. I have emptied the washing machine by removing large plug at front and cleaned filter.

open the detergent draw and pour in about 2 litres of water and then try the machine again from the beginning, this should work...

Nah no good.anti/finish light stuck on and rinses light flashing.hose leaking from lhs front connected to door where filter is accessed

Well, in that case, you'll have to power off for some time, repair the leaking hose and then re test once again.

The controller will be getting a signal from the pressure switch telling it that the water level is not staying the same throughout the wash cycle etc,,,

Check the hose that is leaking for blockage also,,
