hi i have a westinghouse pak557w and the oven is overheating, i believe its the thermostat i was just wondering if theres a way to calibrate or would just replacing it do the trick ? the element went about a month ago and that was replaced

If you remove the knob and there is a small hole in the shaft of the thermostat, you may be able to adjust it if it is not too far off.
