Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! If the water is indeed too hot, you will need to turn your water5 heater down. However, that is rarely the case. Usually, the temperature sensor in the sump assembly or a connection issue is to blame. Do you have a thermometer to measure the hot water temperature at your faucet?

hey Kelly
not sure if you got my response but the dishlex 310 is connected to the cold tap so must be the sensor. any idea where exactly I will find it to check wiring connection

Yes, it is in the plastic sump where the motor is attached. It is on the right side, facing it from the front. It will have only two wires connected to it.
