I have a westinghouse gas oven 476, I can't find the manual and was wondering if it has a programmable timer setting, if so how do I use it?ThanksJen Goldrick
Already Tried: Nothing, not sure what buttons to press or even if it's possible to do.
Hi Jen and welcome to the site, thank you for your inquiry today,Please remember to rate my assistance today after helping you with your inquiryMay I have the full model number from the ID sticker of your oven please, I can then try and locate the full user manual for you so you can understand and set the prgrammable clock etc..Should be on the side of the oven door usually*
Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX is GWH476SNG, serial no is 12811004. I am sure I can preset it, I have been playing with the buttons, just not sure if I set it as a time delay or actual start time in 24hr clock, also can't work out how to cancel a setting. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks
No luck with tthe user manual so far,Can you tell me how many buttons you have and what symbols are on them please?
Sorry for the delay in replying, I have six buttons in total, from left to right i have Timer,a pot with steam above it, a pot with STOP above it, a hand, then the '-' and lastly '+'.The last two I use to set the time. The two 'pot' signs I assume are what I use to preset the timer, I am just not sure if I need to set the actual time of the day I want the oven to turn on or off, or the number of hours/minutes I want to delay the start time. Also I don't how to cancel the setting if required. Hope this is what you need. Thanks
Hi Jen,I couldnt locate the user manual for this exact oven, but I do have a service manual here that covers the Westinghouse ovens and it explains the clock/timer settings for all of the timers. I have cut and pasted the info for your 6 button timer okay.Let me know how you go (Right click and save as on your desktop)If you have any further questions, just ask, I'm happy to answer them and hopefully receive a positive rating from you regarding your question.Thank you for using Just Answer

Alternatively, you can contact Westinghouse and ask them to email you a copy of the user manual, its the only other way to get the actual manual for your oven okay,Here:http://www.westinghouse.com.au/ContactUs
I did send them an email, but haven't heard back yet*
