Have a wirlpool RBS305 built in electric oven. last time I attempted to use it, all display normal, however it failed to heat at all. there had been a power failure at some previous time while I was away. Turned oven off at fuse box, waited a while and turned it on. got following message on the display; E3 - F1 - Have tried everything in the guide but although the display seems normal, no heat at all to the elements
Optional Information: Brand: wirlpool Type of Appliance: Oven & Range Already Tried: reset by turning off power at fuse box, resetting clock, holding "start" button for 5 seconds

The fault code on your oven panel, is it a 4 digit display, alternating between the 2 fault codes E3-F1, or is it displaying as a 4 digit code E3F1?This is important to know*I can give you the fault code meaning, but as far as repairing it goes, it has probably suffered some damage from the recent power spike/outage. It doesnt take much unfortunately*Let me know and I will give you the faiut code info okay
E3 -F1-
So it is alternating yes? As 2 different codes?AUSSIE- Repair Tech.41121.3560188657

F0 - Control Board Failure - Replace control board (clock).
F2 - Oven Temperature Is Too High - Check for welded contacts on bake and broil relays. If present, replace control board (clock). For SELF CLEAN models, check door lock operation. Check sensor, sensor harness, and the sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Also check for any causes of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Remember: The oven control board (clock) measures resistance of sensor circuit, not actual oven temperature.
F3 - Open Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD) - Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD).
F4 - Shorted Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD) - Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD).
F5 - Control Board Failure - Replace control board (clock).
F7 - Function Key Stuck - Replace control board (clock).
F8 - Control Board Failure - Replace control board (clock).
F9 - Oven Door Lock Failure - Check door lock switches and wiring. Check for stuck lock switch.
