May I have the full model number of your dishwasher please?
its an electrolux dishlex dx302. the error that comes up is a half vertical dash 20, like an "i" without the dot on top.
The i20 fault code means there is a problem with the drainage time of your dishwasher.Has it been pumping out all the water at the end of the wash cycles?Cleaning dishes okay still?
it was cleaning the dishes ok, but it doesn't drain, the water has to be manually drained for the cycle to continue. i'm aware it is a drainage issue, i just don't know how to fix it... as in which hose(s) to check for blockages, can i do this myself or do i need a technician
Ill give you the directions now and you can make up your own mind on whether or not your up for the task. okay,

Disconnect the drain hose and inlet hose from underneath the sink and unplug the dishwasher power cord.
Wind down the front legs and undo any screws around the trim panel securing the dishwasher to the cabinet (If fitted*) and then pull the dishwasher forward out of the cabinet.
Once you get the machine out, you can then follow the drain hose up into the base of the machine to the drain pump where it can be removed and you can then check to see if anything is blocking the drainage system of the dishwasher,
If nothing is found there, look at the hose side which feeds the drain pump, is there any blockage there also?
If possible, get a multi meter and test the drain pump to see if it has continuity etc,,
It can be removed and a voltage applied direct to test its operation etc,, but if you haven’t done this before, maybe it is best left to a technician? Plus you need a multimeter.
Here is the contact details for the manufacturer to contact regarding getting a tech out to take a proper look okay, at least this way, you will also get a warranty*
