Hi, could i please get some advise on the Sharp french door fridge SJF65PCWH. Is it a good fridge? Are they quite? What about the way the seal between the doors? The fridge measures 890 wide i have 903 space to fit is this to close the sales person said as long as there was room at the top this would be fine. I love this fridge and I just want to make sure its worth the big bucks. I would also like to know if the fridge is good at keeping an even temp as this seems to be a big problem with a lot of other fridges have found only standard feedback on the fridge etc looks good plenty of room don't matter that shelves don't move love or hate the freezer draws . any comments would be appreciated, thanks

A fairly reliable appliance so far, with minimal units passing through the workshop for repairs. Replacement parts are expensive, so buy extended warranty if you decide to purchase the unit. Must have an inch on either side and at least 10cm top clearance to dissipate heat properly* or it will run hot and will cost a fortune energy wise, not to mention shortening its lifespan dramatically.
Do not buy the stainless steel version, they dent just buy looking at it (Lol) and the replacement panels cost about as much as a new fridge. The tiniest little mark will be visible from 10 metres away* where as white hides dents extremely well.
That is about it really, good for the money, but like any refrigerator these days, you'll be doing well to get 10 years out of it.. They just don't make them like they used to*
I have no trouble in recommending it, just buy the extended warranty and make sure you inquire as to what exactly that is covers for the extra $$$

thank you, XXXXX XXXXX read a lot of feed back on the net regarding dents on the stainless i would be getting white, I'm concerned that i may not have an inch on each side. Is there another brand of fridge that you would recommend. The fridges on the market are all so different with there cooling system etc thanks Linda
Hi Linda,A lot of the fridges are very much the same. The designs look different, but the actual method of frost free chilling is the same in principle. Also, I should point out that a lot of the brands are made by the same companies now, and most of the stuff is from oversea, not Australia.Brands such as Hoover, Westinghouse, Kelvinater, Simpson, Chef, are all owned by Electrolux now. The only other real brands are LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Bosch and a few others, I would personally go with LG, I know their parts are cheap and they have been making stuff for quite some time now. I would steer clear of Samsung as their fridges seem to be problematic these days*The best all round option, would probably be a Bosch really, but whatever you but, purchase an extended warranty ok,This may interest you*http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/side-by-side-fridges.aspxAUSSIE- Repair Tech.41087.9375995718
