I have a Simpson Ezi Sensor Washing Machine. The lid lock red light is flashing and the warning beeps are sounding. The machine will not move on to spin dry.

 



Already Tried:
Pressed the stop/start button without success. Pressed the power button also without success.

EZI sensor 802SA 8KG TOP LOAD WASHER 4 STAR SIMPSON 3 YEARS OLD We have a Simpson Ezi Sensor Washing Machine. The lid lock red light is flashing and the warning beeps are sounding. The machine will not move on to spin dry machine set at normal wash never had problems till now

The lid lock is faulty,

The machine thinks the lid isnt down, even though physically it is*

Your going to have to have the lid lock replaced before this will go away...

If it is the SWT802SA then the lid switch is actually on voluntary product recall.

Go to the following link, enter your model from the drop down menu, bottom left hand side of the page and then enter your serial code. On the next page, you can enter your personal details and Simpson will contact you in relation to coming out and repairing the switch* Just make sure you mention the tingling sensation and that afterwards, the machine started flashing the lid lock light and wouldn't work etc, This is usually the case*
