Simpson EZI SET 950 9.5 kg has fault code 06 or 0b
Hi there and welcome to JA,The ob is the out of balance mechanism fault code....The arm hangs down at the right hand rear side of the cabinet, above the wash bowl attached to the underside of the top of the machine.Open the lid and stick your hand in there and feel around to make sure the arm isnt stuck over the bowl etc,,When you push against it, it should click and then spring back into position*
it got caught up while i had the top of looking for the problem of when the machine pumps out it keeps on pumping and does not rinse or spin
So the ob is no longer pestering you then, thats good news. The no spin will be the motor, or the controller*Another thing to check with the 950 Eziset, is the blue wires that go into the side of the brake arm solenoid, they have a habbit of breaking, right where the wires go into the side of the solenoid itself*lay the machine back and then run the drain and spin cycle to see if the brake arm pulls out after about 5 minutes, so the machine can actually spin etc,,,
The brake arm pulls out
Then its down to the motor and controller....From previous experience with the 950 Eziset, it'll be the controller* most likely,,,Check the motor windings,3 pin connecter,pin 1 and 3 = 42 OHMSpin 1 and 2 = 20 OHMSPin 2 and 3 = 20 OHMS
i have just run it again on rinse and spin it has started to spin but no water is spraying in for rinse
Any ideas
Inlet valve* maybe*
But it fills up ok
Are both hoses hooked up right?
yes
Try it from the very beginning of a full wash program and see how it goes?Normal wash*
ok
Let me know* ok,
Went through the whole cycle but did not spray water in on the rinse cycle.
It has to be the controller then, unless you have selected a wash program, that doesnt use this feature* (spray rinse)Does it make any difference if you change to the deep rinse?
No
Id say the inlet valve itself is in fact okay,This will be a controller related problem for sure then... there isnt much else it can be*
thanks for your help much appreciated.
No worries, it is rather odd that is fills, but doesnt spray rinse*
