We have a Westinghouse two door fridge freezer. The fridge is now freezing everying, we have the temp on 7 degrees which is as hot as we can have it. However, everything is frozen solid again quite quickly. I have tried turning off the fridge and leaving it awhile, then restarting with the same result.Any suggestions.The fridge/freezer was 3yrs old in late Feb 2011
The thermostat is stuffed and needs replacing, this is why the fridge is running full ball constantly, as the thermostat sensor is not registering the temperature of the fridge compartment, therefore, the fridge will continue to run full ball until it reaches the desired temperature settiing, which at the moment, is never. The only wat to fix the fridge will be to replace the thermostat with a new one, Ring with model and brand no to get a quote and purchase one if you cant source locally:Stareast International Pty Ltd
