Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are many things that will cause the engine to die and it's going to require some testing to determine what is going on.

Is the idle speed actually high?

The first step in diagnosing the problem is to use a scan tool or code reader to see if any fault codes are setting and then testing can be done based on the findings. Have you checked for fault codes?

Does it restart immediately after it dies?
