JA: What year is your Falcon?
Customer: Boy your quick 2004
JA: Are you fixing your Falcon yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Looking up Google!!
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Many thanks I want to have a go at fixing it myself yes the window just comes down to a sudden stop. I noticed that the outside rubber weather strip looks like it jams the glass I tried with a knife to keep the rubber in place but no luck.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If it's stopping in the same place each time then odds are there is something physically blocking movement. A bad window motor or loss of power or ground to it will stop the window from working but it sounds like you have a mechanical issue preventing movement. There may be something foreign in the door stopping movement, a broken regulator, or whatever you're seeing with the seal could definitely be binding the glass. Can you elaborate on what you're seeing with the seal or upload picture or video?
