I replaced my gearbox with a secondhand one put it all back and aligned Drive shaft with marks on the two shafts now have vibration at 40 to 50 mph, I notice that on the universal yoke had two pairs of Marks on both sides chose the clearer pair and now have a the vibration. Could it be something else?

Customer: Did it myself have a pit a accustom to working on cars

Customer: Gearbox working smoothly as it should just a little vibration at those speeds as well as a bit of droning noise

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The driveshaft is balanced as an assembly and isn't intended to be disassembled. It sounds as if you're disassembled the driveshaft and indexed it incorrectly.

Did you disassemble the driveshaft in the center at the carrier bearing?

The carrier bearing was not taken off the shaft however the rubber centre clamp did come off so maybe that is not quite right or the centre bearing has moved will check this weekend
