Hi Gary, feeling like a bit of a dick but I think I have found the problem. I haven't had the car for long & didn't bother to read the manual, any how I have been pressing a button on the steering column that looks like a snow flake as I (lol) thought this was the demister turns out it's winter mode & the car starts in 3rd

When in winter mode. Hoping it's that I won't be touching winter mode again & see if this fixes it.

Hi again,

That is correct.

It looks like a snowflake for driving in snow.

Of course, not many owners use that feature in Aussie land.

Don't feel bad at all, I've seen many times, with new owners.

All the best to you for happy motoring.

Kind regards

Gary
