Hi Paul,

If you are fitting an aftermarket controller, I would find the wire for the brake light circuit with a test lamp, along under the RHF scuff plate.

The brake pedal sensor inputs to the BCM.

I would not touch anywhere there, you risk causing electronic issues.

Yes, RHF is right hand front.

The brake light wire should be in the loom under the scuff plate.

Scuff plate clips on and off easily.
