Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the vehicle doesn't move when put in gear it could be an internal transmission failure, loss of fluid due to a leak, or it could be a broken CV joint. If a CV shaft fails then no power will be transmitted to the wheels.

With the transmission in park are you able to push the vehicle or do you feel a hard mechanical lock?
