I have a vz calis that's had a engine installed by a mechanic but every time I put the foot down in the car to get to speed it loses power and and it won't go over 80 kms an hour with out dropping on speed till your only crawling and it drops in power if you put the food down just a tad and when you first go to start the car you need to jump start it as it just runs power out of battery so it's a little hard to get started as well but when it's going it dose not loss power from the battery

Hi Angela,

A few things for your mechanic to check.

All the ground wires associated with the engine, he may have missed one.

You could also have a fuel pump failing.
