My mate has a holden jackeroo and s indicators wont turn off

Customer Question

Hi my mate has a holden jackeroo and his indicators wont turn off even when the keys not in the ignition... any ideas what might cause this and what we can do?
JA: Soon. I'm trying to find the right Mechanic for you right now. As soon as they are ready, I will let you know.
Customer: No worries thank you.
JA: Is the car in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your car has a "wheel lock" feature?
Customer: It drives and runs fine its just the indicators will not turn off at all
JA: What kind of car is it? Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, etc.
Customer: Its a holden jackeroo
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes he would like to if he can find the issue
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: His trying to work out why they wont turn off. I believe his tried anything he could think of. They just wont turn off
JA: Is there anything else the Mechanic should be aware of?
Customer: He said it has the wheel lock feature in park.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

that is the diagram i have for 1995 , but how about pulling each relay one at the time since we not sure on label and the one that turns them off will be the one ,

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 year ago.

the turn signal switch itself also goes bad the one in steering column probably is stuck or shorted out internally

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
His trying now thank you. Ill let you know.
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 year ago.

what does he do now?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
His tried all fuses and the indicators still not turning off.
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 year ago.

he needs to take steering cover off and unplug the the turn signal switch

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
then?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
His trying that now but leave it unplaugged or reconnect it after 30 seconds or what?
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 year ago.

no just leave it unplugged if the trun signal light go off then the turn signal switch itself is the problem

than leave it unplugged until he can replace it

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 year ago.

also this is the starter relay u need to check that open the relay box and swap with with one like it see if it will crank , if not, than starter or switch

I sent you the location of it , just hit the link i sent you
