Customer Question

Hi,
I am currently having a problem with my Audi A8 D3 2004.
The problem I am having is that the tail lights seem to stay on when i have the key in the on position or when the vehicle is running.
However, if I switch the vehicle off and use my brakes I notice that the brake lights come on and off as per normal when I use them.
Here is a small snippet which I am looking at from VCDS

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question had not received a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.My info is somewhat limited on your model here but I had seen no one else has responded and would like to see if I can help here.If at any time you feel that I cannot help with this please let me know. Try clearing out these codes then operate the vehicle and tail and brake lights several times and see which codes come back again and let me know.In some cases one or more of these codes may be a one time fluke and will not set again or they may all set again and I need to know which ones come back here. This may be a fault with shorted brake or tail light wiring needing repaired or replaced for this fault here. Thanks Pete
