Hi Peter,

If the noise is from the rear, it is most likely a rear wheel bearing or the diff making the noise.

You need to have the car run up on a hoist to confirm the cause.

Diffs are common for failure.

it is on 245/35zr19 dunlops. This vehicle has only done 7000km.and the noise appears to come from the utes well deck.

Hi Peter,

If the vehicle has only done 7000km, have you spoken to Ford about this, and if so, what did they say?

Do you think the rear floor is vibrating/drumming?

Hi Peter,

Have you had any luck with Ford?

Some utes and wagons are more prone to road noise than others.
