Hi Ray,

VT - VZ are known for door locks binding up.

Can you try this for me?

All windows down, all doors shut, go to the LF door, press lock on your key remote while just pressing the door lock snib button down. Try this on all the affected doors.

Do they all lock when commanded down?

Will they then all unlock?

You could have many door locks faulty, and/or door lock snib buttons binding in the door trims.

If they feel ok, the BCM is probably the faulty part.

Did all three fault at the same time?

What is the BCM
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Check doors as requested above knob wouldn't go down with remote tried pushing and pulling up and down manually and the left side works together both doors same as right side but left and right will not work together using remote
Give all knobs a dose of WD40 while working up and down seem to be freer

Hi Ray,

We did change a lot of door lock a few years back.

I had one VZ ute that I replaced the RH door lock first, and it didn't work,

then I proved the BCM (Body Control Module) was faulty, fit new BCM and keys, then replace BOTH front door locks again.

The faulty BCM blew up the door locks as soon as they were plugged in.

Yours does sound like door lock/snib issues.

I would start at the LHF door, since it is the 2nd most important door.

More than likely, replace the door lock.

Still available from Holden.

Ensure the snib button rod is straight and not causing any unwanted side loading of the snib button on reassembly.

By your description, the RHF is ok.
