Hi Sally,

The car must have had a radio change sometime in it's life.

The PIN is now incorrect.

For each incorrect entry, the SAFE decreases by one.

SAFE 3 means you now have 3 attempts left.

Best for you to take to Holden to have the radio serial number faxed to away, possibly to Germany for the correct code.

Do not keep entering the wrong code.

Once the correct code ie retrieved, the key needs to stay on for a while, about 6 hours in your case, until the word CODE appears in the screen.

Sorry I can't help you any further for now.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sally,

If this has happened before, then you must have already known you have the wrong code.

If you get to SAFE 0 then the radio will be locked.

Have you checked with Holden for their current records of your PIN code?

Gary
