Hi Steven,

I am a Holden Tech, so I'll try to help you here.

A few questions, does you car have heated seats?

Do you have all the face vents open, 2 centre vents and both outer vents?

Do you have a dash mat, non-genuine?

And please don't rely on forums, info is always misleading, what they have mentioned to you is VE related.

Hi Gary
Yes it has Heated Seats.
Yes All the vents are open.
No Dash Mat

Hi Steven,

Sounds like it has a lH air mix motor problem.

I would suggest take the car to Holden for vehicle wide DTC scan.

Mention your concern at the same time.

Hi Gary
I've had it to my local Holden dealer here in Parkes NSW and they want $1300.00 for starters to pull the Dash out, with no guarantee they can fix it. The car has only 32,000 Km and is like brand new. so I thought I would do my own home work.

Hi Steven,

That is unfortunate for you that your local dealer gives you that as an answer.

It could well be a flap issue within the HVAC case, but a look at some HVAC data would reveal what's going on.

If you command cold, say 16-18 degrees, how hot does the LH side get in comparison?

40? or full hot?
