Hi Jay,

Very Common problem with AH Astra.

The CIM (Column Integration Module) is the busmaster for the car, and is more than likely the culprit.

The is a Holden rework for this concern, and you may still get it under warranty.

My advice to you is take it a Holden dealer with all of your keys.

Ok will let auto lecky known when he looks at car, thanks mate.

Personally, I would recommend going to the manufacturer (Opel, Holden dealer) for this concern.

The average "Auto lecky" won't know what to do after verifying the starter motor operation.
