Customer Question

I have a problem with our holden vz adventra 06 loss of power going up hill and rattling and misfiring. Runs fine downhill and on level ground I have replaced all o2 sensors, plugs, coils, fuel pump and air filter.

Hi there,
Can I ask, firstly, are you seeing any warning lights up, & has the vehicle had an error code scan?
It sounds like it's fuel delivery related, & given that the pump is fresh, I would be changing the filter & doing a fuel pressure test under load. It may be a bad pressure regulator, or, on the sensing side, a bad throttle position sensor or MAF sensor, the latter two giving false information back to the ECU limiting injector opening time & creating a lean running condition.
It does not sound spark related, given the good running under light load..
I hope this helps!
Cheers
Scott
