Hello and Welcome! I'm Billy and i will assist you with your inquiry. Feel free to ask if any further info is needed.
My apologies for the delay, thank you for your patience.
When the overdrive is on, the light should be off on dash.
If you have the light on, and accelerate on the highway till 100 km/h, and then press the O/D button, so the light goes off, does the rpm stay the same?
And do you have any warning lights on dash?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes the revs stay the same and no warning lights

Hello,
I would start by checking the transmission control module for fault codes.
If none are present, i would monitor the speed sensors, while taking the car for a test drive.
And then, i would actuate the solenoids one by one, hear them click, including the solenoid for the overdrive.
This way, we should be able to pinpoint the culprit, or at least get direction, to know what to check next.
Get back to me with your findings, so we proceed as needed.
Regards,
Billy
